THE BRO CODE
THERE AREN’T MANY RULES. BUT THE ONES WE HAVE MATTER.
Brocation started as a Disneyland trip between friends, but over the years it became something more. The Bro Code is how we remind ourselves what this tradition is really about—and how we want to treat the people we meet along the way.
HAVE FUN. DON’T BE A JERK. TAKE CARE OF YOUR BROS.
BRO CODE #1
HAVE FUN.
We’re grown men at Disneyland. This shouldn’t require much explanation. 😄

TAKE THE RIDES. EAT THE CHURROS. MAKE THE MEMORY.
Brocation is a break from everyday life. For a few days, we’re here to laugh too loudly, ride things designed for people half our age, eat food we probably don’t need, and make stories we’ll still be telling years from now.
Don’t spend the trip worrying about looking cool. That’s a battle we lost the moment 26 grown men showed up at Disneyland in matching shirts.
TAKE THE FUN SERIOUSLY. YOURSELF? NOT SO MUCH.
BRO CODE #2
DON’T BE A JERK.
Disneyland is crowded enough. Nobody needs us making it worse.
RESPECT THE CAST. RESPECT THE GUESTS. RESPECT THE PARK.
Twenty-six Bros moving through Disneyland can take up a lot of space. We know we’re not the only people trying to have a great day, so we do our best to be aware of the people around us, stay out of the way, and treat everyone with respect.
Be patient in line. Thank the Cast Members. Make room for families. Don’t ruin someone else’s experience just because you’re having fun with yours.
YOU CAN HAVE A GREAT TIME WITHOUT GETTING IN THE WAY OF SOMEONE ELSE’S.

BRO CODE #3
TAKE CARE OF YOUR BROS.
Nobody gets left behind.

LOOK OUT FOR EACH OTHER. CELEBRATE EACH OTHER. SHOW UP FOR EACH OTHER.
Brocation may happen at Disneyland, but the rides aren’t really the reason we keep coming back. The reason is the Bros.
Pay attention to the people around you. Slow down when somebody needs it. Make sure nobody gets separated or forgotten. Celebrate the good stuff. Help carry the hard stuff. And remember that sometimes the most important part of the trip is simply showing up for each other.
THE PARK CLOSES. THE FRIENDSHIP DOESN’T.
OUR MISSION
GOOD BROS. GOOD EXAMPLES. GREAT MEMORIES.
Brocation is an annual tradition built on friendship, laughter, and the shared experience of wholesome fun at Disneyland.
As Bros, we commit to treating each other, Cast Members, and fellow guests with respect, kindness, and self-discipline. We recognize that how we conduct ourselves reflects not only on the Brocation, but on our families, our values, and the people around us.
We strive to leave every place a little better than we found it—through appropriate words, considerate actions, positive attitudes, and humor that never comes at someone else’s expense.
We hold one another accountable, follow the rules, respect the people around us, and work to ensure our presence adds to the joy, safety, and comfort of others.
We use these experiences, friendships, and traditions to consciously become better husbands, better fathers, better friends, and better human beings.
IN THE SPIRIT OF THE MISSION
THE BROCATION DO-NOT LIST
To keep Brocation fun, respectful, family-friendly, and drama-free—for everyone, including ourselves—we agree:
DO NOT BRING OR USE ILLEGAL DRUGS OR CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES.
Nothing prohibited by law or park rules belongs on Brocation.
DO NOT CONSUME ALCOHOL OR BEHAVE IN A WAY THAT COMPROMISES THE STANDARDS OF BROCATION.
Our choices shouldn’t embarrass the group, disturb others, or detract from someone else’s experience.
DO NOT CUT IN LINE.
If you aren’t in line when the rest of the Bros enter the queue, don’t join them later. Meet the group at the attraction exit and catch the next one together.
DO NOT USE CRUDE, SUGGESTIVE, OFFENSIVE, OR INAPPROPRIATE LANGUAGE.
Remember where we are. Disneyland is filled with children and families.
DO NOT MAKE OTHER PEOPLE UNCOMFORTABLE.
Treat fellow guests and Cast Members with respect. Never behave in a way that could reasonably be perceived as inappropriate, intimidating, or disrespectful—particularly toward women and children.
DO NOT HARASS, HECKLE, OR SINGLE PEOPLE OUT.
No one should become the target of unwanted jokes, comments, attention, or embarrassment.
DO NOT IGNORE PARK RULES OR CAST MEMBER INSTRUCTIONS.
Follow safety requirements, attraction rules, and the direction of Cast Members. They are doing their job—make it easy for them.
DO NOT VANDALIZE, DAMAGE, OR INTERFERE WITH ANYTHING.
Respect the park, its property, attractions, shows, and the experience Disney has created for everyone.
DO NOT POST SOMETHING THAT MISREPRESENTS THE BROS.
Photos, videos, comments, and stories should reflect the Brocation and the people in it in a way we can stand behind.
DO NOT PRESSURE ANOTHER BRO.
If someone isn’t comfortable participating in something, respect it. No explanation required.
DO NOT FORGET THAT WE ARE GUESTS.
Respect the people, the property, and the place we’ve been invited to enjoy. Good guests are invited back.
⚠️ SPECIAL BRO CODE WARNING ⚠️
DON’T BE AN RR.
RIDE RUINER
A Ride Ruiner spoils the experience for the people around him—especially someone experiencing an attraction for the first time.
NO SPOILERS.
Don’t announce or describe what’s about to happen.
NO FAKE-OUTS.
Don’t deliberately mislead someone about what’s coming.
NO OVER-THE-TOP REACTIONS.
Don’t scream, yell, or exaggerate what’s happening just to get a reaction from someone else.
Bros or strangers, it doesn’t matter. Let people experience the magic for themselves.
DON’T RUIN THE RIDE. DON’T BE AN RR.
ONE MORE THING…
INVITED. NOT SOLICITED.
Occasionally, the Bros may be invited to sing with another group in the park. That’s part of the fun—but there are two simple rules.
ADULTS ONLY.
Any individuals involved must be adults.
THE INVITATION COMES FROM THEM.
If someone invites the Bros to join in, great. We do not approach people or groups looking for an audience or participation.
Disney has enough magic for everyone. We don’t need to add to it with our own attempted entertainment.
AT THE END OF THE DAY…
BE POSITIVE.
BE KIND.
BE A GOOD EXAMPLE.
LEAVE PEOPLE BETTER THAN YOU FOUND THEM.
That’s the Bro Code.
We’re not going to get it right every time. But if Brocation can leave our friendships stronger, create some great memories, and make the day a little better for the people we meet along the way, we’re doing something right.
NOW GO HAVE FUN.
